Worship is the prime purpose of St Peter’s church. There are different services through the week and on Sundays, and all of them are open to everyone. There is no dress code, and while some services are especially intended to involve children, people of every age are equally and entirely welcome to all services.
There are services in St Peter’s church every day. Morning and Evening prayer provide the structure of the day and ground the life of the parish in prayer. Every Wednesday evening all the prayers which have been put on the board in the nave are prayed during the service.
The whole family of the Church comes together on Sunday. There are different services to suit different people, including the peaceful traditional 8am Eucharist, the Junior church for 3 to 11 year old children, and the monthly All Age service, where the children lead much of the worship.
If you want to know more about the services, the best thing is to come and experience them. You will be welcomed as soon as you enter the church, and someone will offer to explain how the service works. There is no pressure to join in.
