From Brexit and backstops, gender and sexuality, politics and Trump, facebook and google, everyone has a view, and they don’t seem to like those who disagree very much. This year the Lent course at St Peter’s looks at how we feel about people like us, and people who aren’t. We’ll look at examples from the Old and New Testament, and at some of the issues dividing society today. The theme through the course will be the reconciliation work of Coventry Cathedral, with its 3 strands of healing the wounds of history (the past), learning to live with difference and celebrate diversity (the present), and building a culture of peace (the future). Everyone is welcome to any or all the sessions. Each session will run twice, on Tuesday evening and Friday midday, in the meeting room in St Peter’s.
